Easily one of the best Airbnb’s we’ve stayed at! The cabin is so cozy and peaceful, and we loved spending time on the deck. The fireplace was awesome for the cold evenings. Lots of options for hiking nearby. We enjoyed a couple visits to Buck Bald Brewery in town. Phil and Karen were fantastic hosts and we’re looking forward to our next stay!
Cozy and clean cabin! Highlight of the property is the back porch, with a view of the big backyard (which was great for the dogs)! Phil and Karen have a ton of accommodating items and thoughtful details for their guests. This place had everything we needed and was the perfect spot for a peaceful vacation. Definitely recommend a stay here!
Awesome cabin in a serene setting!
Cabin was very clean! Loved the porch for peaceful mornings and afternoons. Kitchen was great to cook in, had everything you will need! Phil and Karen were very responsive and helpful. Will definitely be staying here again in the future!
My wife and I went up to the Fawn for a Valentine’s day getaway weekend and had a blast. Phil and Karen made check-in a breeze with super clear instructions and even allowed us to have an early check-in. The place was spotless and easy to find. The cabin was perfect for the two of us and had everything that we could have needed, including up-to-date appliances and a spacious bedroom. There are tons of things to do near Murphy, and Phil and Karen provided helpful recommendations on places to eat and things to do. We cannot recommend staying at the Fawn enough, and we will definitely be back.
Phil and Karen were amazing hosts! Their place is very comfortable even for a small family. It had more than we needed and everything felt like new. The house is very well taken care of. I definitely recommend staying here!
We absolutely ADORED Phil & Karen’s cabin!! We felt immediately at home and it was the perfect size for my husband, myself & our two large dogs. The envelope with various brochures for places in the area was PERFECT for my planning purposes. I was blown away by the additional amenities that I usually bring “just in case” that were all included!! We will def be recommending their home to anyone who will listen and plan to revisit ourselves!!!
WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!! we loved our stay it was the best choice we could’ve made for our vacation the host is super friendly couldn’t ask for a better one! spent our anniversary here and would 100% recommend!!
My husband and I needed a get away from daily life and a place to regroup ourselves and this was just the place. It had everything we needed. And a perfect size for a couple get away. Our favorite part of the cabin was the kitchen and the back porch/balcony. Everything was clean. And the bedroom was a great size as well. The surrounding area is very quiet. We both really felt relaxed coming back home to our three children and two dogs. We will definitely be back.
